Hi, my name is Ali. I grew up in Hamburg, Germany and moved to Canada around 2011. I learned photography in highschool in Germany but my passion started the day my wife bought me my first Nikon DSLR. just like that. I remember how she said, “take some pictures. I know you like to….”
and so the journey began.

I photographed countless weddings in the past 15 years.

My style of photography for weddings is usually more photo journalistic and documentary. I try to capture as many details and memories, feelings and stories as possible to last a life time.

Most of my pictures are candid.

I am married to an incredible woman, talented makeup artist and hair stylist and super mom, my inspiration and my muse Mahbuba, who shows and proves to me everyday that you can achieve everything you want in life if you just believe in yourself.

We have three beautiful children. Our two autistic boys are taking most of our time. Sometimes it’s challenging for us but at the same time they are giving us a unique type of happiness by taking us into their world.

I have a deep long connection with coffee. If it was not photography I would open a coffee shop.
